FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed machine is designed for converting energy of working medium (gas, steam, liquid) into mechanical work and vice versa. Machine has housing 3, at least one prismatic spring 1, cover 4 with valves 5 and 10, flexible prismatic bottle 2, piston 6 with connecting rod 11 coupled with guide support 7. Piston 6 is secured coaxially on end face of prismatic spring 1 in which flexible prismatic bottle is installed. Open end face of bottle, together with other end face of prismatic spring 1 is hermetically secured on housing 3 by means of cover 4. Bottom of flexible prismatic bottle 2 is hermetically secured on piston 6. Guide support 7 kinematically coupled with connecting rod 11 provides noncontact movement of piston 6 over geometrical axis of prismatic spring 1.
EFFECT: improved reliability and increased service life of machine, simplified conditions of operation.
