SUBSTANCE: energy utilization unit includes hydraulic cylinder with rod, pump and oil tank. Connected to hydraulic cylinder coaxially on side of rod is additional housing with spring mounted inside it and supported by rod of hydraulic cylinder. Projecting part of rod is arranged coaxially inside spring for performing reciprocating motion; this projecting part is rigidly connected with toothed rack projecting beyond housing; power takeoff gear is periodically thrown into engagement with this rack. Cavity of hydraulic cylinder is communicated with oil tank pump via check valve; pump is connected with brake drive and pressure relief cock connected in its turn with gearshift.
EFFECT: saving of fuel or energy through recuperation of braking energy suitable for release at acceleration or start of engine.
