FIELD: power engineering; aircraft power plants.
SUBSTANCE: proposed propulsion system has low-pressure turbine and compressor, two propulsive devices with shafts installed coaxially. Propulsion system has two engines with coaxial rotors installed for rotation in opposite directions. Shafts of propulsive devices are coupled with engine rotors and are provided with axial holes. One of shafts of propulsive devices is arranged in hole of other shaft. Shaft for coupling low-pressure turbine and compressor is placed inside both shafts of propulsive devices. Rotary engine can be used in propulsion system with driving rotor and driven rotors installed in stator. Inlet and outlet ports for blowing of spaces are made in stator bores for driven rotors.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of rotary engine and propulsion system as a whole.
